I left my Partnership in order to become a consultant solicitor so I could leave behind the bureaucracy and management side of running a traditional high street solicitors practice and focus on my clients, their cases and my professional development.

I actually started my legal career in criminal law at the Ashford, Kent branch of Kaim Todner Solicitors (a large London criminal practice) before qualifying as a Police Station Representative and working in London for another criminal practice. However I realised that whilst I do have the compassionate and personable nature it takes to support people through the criminal justice process, this area of law was not for me. I took the extremely important client care, communication skills and confidence that I gained representing clients at London Police Stations and transferred this to Family practice where I have thrived ever since.

I achieved a 2.1 LLB (Hons) Law degree at Southampton Solent University before completing the Bar Vocational Course at The City Law School, London with a ‘Very Competent’. After working as a Paralegal for some time in London and the Medway towns I decided to cross qualify and was admitted to the roll of Solicitors in April 2013, rather than pursuing a career as a barrister.

I find the charity work I do in my spare time gives me compassion for my clients and their circumstances and provides me with a greater understanding of many of the reasons why relationships breakdown.

I grew up in Hythe and the Romney Marsh. I like to spend my spare time outdoors on long walks and bike rides with my partner along the coast and in the beautiful countryside which we are so lucky to have on our doorstep. I also enjoy yoga and snowboarding from time to time.

I have represented clients across Kent all of all ages, from their early twenties right through to a gentleman in his mid-eighties. I am a highly motivated, confident individual who will strive for the best possible outcome for my client. I do not believe in arguing a point if there is no merit to it. I provide honest and realistic advice right from the start. Managing client expectations is paramount, as is being clear and realistic about the likely costs (including the likely disbursements) in your matter.
